Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of traix.co.uk and any services you order from Traix ("we", "us"), a UK-based service providing AI visibility scoring, strategy and delivery for recruitment agencies, and publishing the Recruitment AI Index. By using the website or ordering services, you agree to these terms. If you order services on behalf of an agency or company, you confirm you have authority to do so.
Traix is a business-to-business service. By working with us you confirm you are acting in the course of business, not as a consumer.
2. The free Traix score
The Traix score is a free assessment of an agency's AI search readiness, produced using our documented methodology and delivered by email, normally within 72 hours of request. It is provided free of charge, without obligation on either side.
The score reflects AI platform outputs at the time of testing. AI answers change constantly, so a score is a dated snapshot, not a permanent rating.
We may decline or limit score requests at our discretion — for example, where a request falls outside recruitment, appears automated, or duplicates a recent assessment.
The score is general information to help you understand your AI visibility. It is not a warranty, valuation or professional advice.
3. Paid services: Strategy and Delivery
Strategy
Strategy is a one-off engagement comprising a full AI visibility audit, competitor benchmark, prioritised 90-day roadmap and a walkthrough call, at the price shown on our website when you order. The Strategy fee is credited in full to your first month of Delivery if you proceed within 90 days of receiving your roadmap.
Your roadmap and report are yours to keep — run them with us or without us.
Delivery
Delivery is our done-for-you monthly service implementing your roadmap, at the monthly price shown on our website when you order. Delivery has an initial term of three months, billed monthly in advance. After the initial term it continues on a rolling monthly basis, and you can cancel at any time by email — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month, with no further charges.
Ordering and changes
Prices, inclusions and any founding-client arrangements are as stated on our website or in writing at the time you order. We'll confirm each engagement by email before work begins.
4. The promise we make — and the one we don't
What we guarantee: that the work described in your engagement is delivered; that your visibility is re-tested using our documented methodology; and that results are reported to you honestly, whether or not they flatter us.
What we don't guarantee: that any AI platform will mention, cite, rank or recommend your agency, or continue to do so. AI answers are generated by third parties, change constantly, and are not a paid placement — nobody controls them, including us. Improvement in AI visibility is the goal of our work, not a promised outcome, and you should treat any provider's guarantee of AI rankings with scepticism.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide reasonable access and information we need to do the work — for example, website access or an introduction to whoever manages it, and timely approvals of content before it goes live.
- Ensure information you give us about your agency is accurate, and that you have the right to share any access or materials you provide.
- Respond to approval requests within a reasonable time. Where client delays hold up the work, timelines extend accordingly and monthly Delivery fees remain payable.
- Use our reports and recommendations at your own business judgement.
6. Payment
Strategy is invoiced on order and payable before the audit begins. Once audit work has started, the fee is non-refundable — the deliverable is the report and roadmap, which you keep.
Delivery is invoiced monthly in advance and payable by the date on the invoice. There are no partial-month refunds after cancellation takes effect.
Prices are exclusive of VAT, which is added where applicable.
If an invoice is overdue we may pause work until it's settled, and we reserve the right to charge interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
7. The Recruitment AI Index
The Index is independent research on how AI platforms describe and recommend recruitment agencies, built from publicly available information and the outputs of public AI platforms. By using the website you acknowledge:
- Index listings and Traix scores are research and opinion, produced by a consistent, documented methodology applied equally to all agencies.
- No one can pay to change a score or ranking — being a Traix client has no effect on how an agency is scored.
- Scores are dated snapshots of AI outputs, which change over time; we refresh listings periodically but do not warrant that any listing is current or complete.
- If you believe a listing about your agency is inaccurate, contact hello@traix.co.uk and we will review it promptly. We may amend, annotate or remove listings at our discretion.
- You may quote or share Index findings with attribution to Traix and, where online, a link. You may not scrape, republish the Index at scale, or present our data as your own.
8. Intellectual property
Yours: on payment in full, you own the deliverables we create for you — reports, roadmaps, and content written for your website and profiles.
Ours: the Traix name, the Traix score, the Index, our methodology, templates, tools and know-how remain ours, including anything we improve while working with you. Nothing in an engagement transfers these.
Licences: you grant us permission to access and modify the websites, profiles and accounts you ask us to work on, for the purpose of delivering the services. We only reference you as a client, or publish a case study, with your written agreement — except where separately agreed, for example under a founding-client arrangement.
9. Confidentiality
Each of us will keep the other's confidential information confidential and use it only for the engagement. This doesn't apply to information that is public, already known, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law. Our obligations here survive the end of any engagement.
10. Third-party platforms
Our work involves third-party platforms — AI services, search engines, directories, review sites — that we don't control. They may change their systems, outputs, policies or availability at any time, and we're not responsible for their content, decisions or downtime. Where our website links to third-party sites, those sites have their own terms.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data.
- We are not liable for the outputs, actions or changes of third-party platforms, or for business decisions you take based on our reports.
- Our total liability arising out of or in connection with the services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim (or, for the free score and website use, £100).
12. Using the website
The website and its content — including the Index — are provided for general information. We work to keep it accurate, but we don't warrant that it's error-free or that access will be uninterrupted. You agree not to misuse the site, including attempting to breach its security, scrape it at scale, or use it for unlawful purposes.
13. Ending an engagement
Either of us may end an engagement immediately by written notice if the other materially breaches these terms and doesn't fix it within 14 days of being asked, or becomes insolvent. On termination you remain responsible for fees due for work performed, and clauses which by their nature should survive — including payment, intellectual property, confidentiality and liability — continue.
14. General
- These terms, together with your engagement confirmation and our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us for the services.
- We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page at the time you order applies to that order.
- If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. A failure to enforce a right isn't a waiver of it.
- Nothing here creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship.
- Notices should be sent by email — to us at hello@traix.co.uk, and to you at the address on your engagement.
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
